It's getting warm with family in a cozy kitchen when it's cold outside,
It's a pick up hockey game in Kitchener, Moose jaw, Trail or Rimouski,
It's middle-aged parents all over this country driving kids to schools that are the envy of many nations,
It's tired Canadian troops standing at the top of Vimy Ridge taken in one day in 1917,
When no one else could take it in two years,
It's Canadian troops fighting today against an enemy that says their government would
burn, torture and rape women who are not fully covered or obey their every whim.
Those troops, wondering, perhaps in time, if their sacrifice for us will be forgotten...
